I did like the little touches, like the establishing shot of a castle using stock art, and the occasional sound effects like the splash at the end. Also, in the future have a partner whose entire job is to hold or position the camera too often the actor’s head was cut off or we couldn’t tell what was happening in the scene. I understand this is hard considering you only have about a minute and a half, so try making a list of everything important that happens in your story and cutting it down until you have just enough to fill up 90 seconds! Speeding up the movie only made the dialogue and narration squeaky and difficult to understand. I appreciate how much of the complicated story this movie tried to tell, but this movie attempted to pack in too much plot next time try to cut out any unnecessary scenes, dialogue, or elements that are not crucial to the story line.
Judges’ Remarks: A very ambitious one-man show retelling of the story! I’m glad you did some costume changes to keep the characters distinct-that’s crucial when every character is played by the same actor-but there should have been even more costumes changes, because at a certain point I couldn’t tell characters apart.
